Chuck D’Amato – Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Managing Partner
Prior to founding ANIGENT LLC, Chuck D’Amato was formerly the Supervisor of Drug Diversion Prevention at Mayo Clinic Arizona (MCA), a Mayo Clinic Enterprise Medication Management Informaticist and the inventor of the Medication Administration & Analysis Program (MAAP) and methods. While in MCA, he was a member of the Mayo Clinic Drug Diversion Prevention Subcommittee for over five years. Chuck is a Pharmacist earning his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut in 1992.
With more than 20 years of experience at Mayo Clinic Arizona, Chuck started his pharmacy healthcare career specializing in OR Pharmacy and progressed to manage Pharmacy Operations. It was during his time in operations that he realized the power of utilizing business analytics and the urgent need for a drug diversion solution.
Chuck embarked on a path creating analytical computer code to automate the detection of anomalous behavior and to refine the output to detect drug diversion. As a self-taught computer coder, the first version of MAAP was developed in 2013 and employed in the MCA Anesthesia Department. With the overwhelming success of the program, Chuck was reassigned to build the Mayo Clinic Arizona Drug Diversion Prevention Program and expand his drug diversion detection work from Anesthesia to Nursing and Pharmacy.
V.C. “Jun” Fabella, Jr. – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Partner
With more than 25 years of experience, Jun Fabella was formerly the EVP, Founder DYNALABS LLC New Ventures and President of DYNALABS LLC. In 2003, Jun participated in crafting the company’s mission and vision. He also led the technical design, development, and implementation of the customer website, and developed the initial go-to-market strategy. During his tenure as President/COO, Jun was instrumental in growing the company, but more importantly transforming DYNALABS into a Professionally Managed Organization.
As Executive Vice President DYNALABS New Ventures Initiative, Jun is charged with identifying and developing high value ventures or commercial opportunities that’s consistent with DYNALABS company’s vision of leading innovation and a future where healthcare partners can rely on DYNALABS for all their comprehensive lab testing needs.
Jun honed his leadership skills working for various industry leaders: Monsanto Chemical Company, Computer Science Corporation, Ameren Corporation, and Maritz Motivation Solutions.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Missouri Science and Technology in Rolla and his MBA at Webster University in St. Louis, MO. Jun also served in the US Army for six (6) years as a Non-commissioned Officer.
Steve Crouse – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Steve Crouse has more than 30 years of experience in finance, operations, and human resources management. Steve, a seasoned, results-oriented leader and team builder, has experience in building, strengthening, and leading organizations to success in competitive environments.
Steve has a proven track record of success when working with fast-growing companies; he especially enjoys guiding a company through the intricacies of debt management and providing financial insight during long-term strategic planning.
Prior to joining ANiGENT LLC, Steve worked at various companies, including Lanter Distributing, True North Group LLC, The Foreign Candy Co. Inc., and Allparts Inc. He held roles as Vice President – Controller, Vice President of Finance and Operations, Principal Consultant, and Director of Finance. Steve is known for his profit maximization by getting results through operational efficiencies, supportive financial reporting, and effective negotiation skills. He demonstrates the ability to make improvements in profitability, cash flow, inventory levels, operational efficiencies, and teamwork.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA Finance from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
Tim Johnson – Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Tim Johnson has over 20 years of experience in building and leading technology development, teams and ventures. These initiatives encompass a broad array of domains including Pharma, Healthcare, and Managed Technology Services.
Tim was co-founder of an entrepreneurial team that pioneered a managed services platform for large-scale networks. For its success, the company was recognized as number 96 on the Inc 500 list and was ultimately acquired by a private equity firm.
Kevin Kohl – Principal Architect/Development Lead
With over 20 years of engineering and programmatic experience at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Kevin Kohl has provided extensive system life cycle management services; being involved in the planning, design, development, integration, testing, transition, operation, and maintenance of a number of diverse information management systems involving a wide variety of technologies, stakeholder organizations, missions, processes, data, and products.
Kevin was Lead Systems Engineer for a pilot program that explored the use of new technology, an agile development methodology, and open standards to integrate diverse data and mission sets. Responsibilities included establishing and coordinating software features, required data sets, and mission use cases with pilot sponsors, project manager, subject matter experts, and software integrator, developers, and vendors.
